There is a day each week upon a group sets out for a mission, a cause that must be expressed through each Wednesday, sun to moon, sunrise to sunset. A mission many may oppose, a mission I don't really agree with but this isn't a debate. Many a'cars pass upon this time (idk if that's right who cares) and lay eyes upon the signage displayed each Wednesday. Lay your eyes upon it, celebrate in glee within your vehicle, as ABORTION DAY IS HERE! Yes, I do not kid, nor jest, for this wonderous day of Wednesday is ABORTION DAY.
EVERY WEDNESDAY DOWN BY THE HOSPITAL, I SEE SIGNS FOR ABORTION. FOR ABOUT ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW. EVERY WEDNESDAY. So when I was in year 12, I took the bus home. I would drive to school, and then take the bus home. Back then I was on my learners so my dad accompanied me to school and then drove himself to work. This bus goes through the hospital and then down towards my house. So, on that hill before the hospital and on the big intersection after, there were always signs about abortion every Wednesday. It was like a calendar to me. Every time I saw it: Its Wednesday! Even when I got to drive the next year, 2025, STILL THERE. 2026, even in the fucking RAIN they appear. Are they spirits of aborted children? Do they have too much time on their hands? Where do they work that permits them a Wednesday off, and how are they consistently getting together for this? The logistics are CRAZY for this. For two years of straight abortion signs sitting on a chair with an umbrella, you gotta build up some sorta library to survive that amount of time sat there. Do they move often? I need to do some people watching but there isn't some cafe there for me to sit and watch them from, its a fairly empty area besides the small shops there.
So yeah really this popped into my head cause last Wednesday I saw it and remembered it has been there since forever. it... those are people, yet I see them as a monument. A little piece of Hamilton to remember. When we leave this city, if we ever do, what will we remember? The little lounge, weird old people at biddy's, and the abortion day. Those are my main memories that will be within my 60 year old, rotted brain when I age.
The passage of time is a scary thing to witness but I'm glad to know you have an anchor that keeps you at bay. Hey yk what I just realised? When we're all 60, these blogs will be looked back on like main memories... or perhaps stronger since they are much more lidded with words!

Here's the plan, every 5 years starting now, we will read out the blog posts in a reunion of sorts and reminisce on fond times. For us to get to 60 though would require a consistent healthy life. To conclude, I will be sleeping after leaving this comment so I can reach old age.
