YOURE ALL UNEDUCATED DRINKERS.

after speaking to a certain individual i have realized something: yall dont know how much alcohol is in what.

SO LET ME EDUCATE YOU. when it comes to alcohol, its often measured in standard drinks. 1 standard drink, is about 1 beer, thats 1 330ml can with 4% ABV. IGNORE THE PERCENTAGE. WE DONT CARE. WE CARE ABOUT THESE STANDARD DRINKS.

WHEN VIEWING THE AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL CONSUMED, COUNT IN STANDARD DRINKS. every drink you buy displays the standard drinks. for example, majority of wine I drink is about 7.8 standard drinks. thats 7.8 beers.

now, the most important, is how you line up how many standard drinks you can have. this can not only inform how much you drink, but how much you buy. for example, if I wanted to get a little drunk, in the past I would buy a 6 pack of some 1.2 standard drink RTD's. Overall, thats 7.2 standard drinks.

Now depending on how drunk you want to get is how much alcohol you buy. For example. My highest amount of alcohol was around 16 standard drinks. At that level I passed out and puked. So, if I want to get FUCKING WASTED I would get about 12-14 standard drinks worth of alcohol for a night.

Essentially, if you want to know your limit, measure your standard drinks, they're far more consistent than measuring ml to abv.

thanks

  2. So I should be having 10 standard drinks anytime I drink, otherwise what's the point? :)
